Item Description
Dan O’Halloran (1945-2016), American/Canadian. Large limited edition signed print titled “The Boy and The Crane” featuring an intercommunicative scene where both a young boy and an oversized crane are facing each other while both balancing on one leg. Signed lower left. Numbered 157/250 and titled lower left. Double matted and framed with glass. Image 32 1/2” x 16 3/4.” Frame 43 1/4” x 27 3/8.”

A native of Seattle, WA, O’Halloran was a journalist who spent time in several Asian countries including Taiwan, China, Vietnam, and Laos. Although he never formally studied art, his unique and impressive works are symbolically oriented and rooted in the Chinese culture. He states in his biography that his works are not trying to imitate Chinese art, but rather they are a way of telling stories that originate from his own personal dreams and experiences.
